Under Spanish law non-resident property owners are required to appoint a public prosecutor representative in Spain to arrange the payment of the taxes levied on their property.
This service is also recommended to those property owners who are residents to ensure the correct property taxes are paid on time thus avoiding any future penalty from the tax administration
